The Commit to Connect August 2023 webinar focused on innovative volunteer programs that foster social connection. SAGE (https://www.sageusa.org/) shared how they create and sustain volunteer opportunities that help LGBTQ+ older adults remain engaged in their community. Attendees also heard from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation (https://www.christopherreeve.org/) as they highlighted their peer mentoring program matching people with disabilities to spur connection.
