Commit to Connect and engAGED, USAging’s National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults, co-hosted the June 2024 webinar and Office Hours call focused on advancing social connection through creative expression and art. During the webinar, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies explained how art, culture, and creative expression can play an important role in strengthening social connection for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. Attendees also heard from the Central Vermont Council on Aging and Dances For A Variable Population on how their programs use the arts to promote social connections for older adults.
