Despite all of the issues and concerns that currently plague the United States, the shrinking of the middle class sits steadily at the top. The disappearance of the middle class is not only hurting the American economy, but also a bulk of the social relationships that reside within the country. In time, if the issue is not dealt with, there will no longer be a respectable middle class in the United States which is serious threat to the nation. The social backdrop of the U.S. along with the already fractured economy are in jeopardy and if they fell, the nation would be lead down many sinister, unpredictable roads; something needs to be done before things take a turn for the absolute worst. It all just starts with the middle.
