America's foster care system is fundamentally flawed, leaving 40% percent of children who age out homeless within eighteen months, and countless others unemployed, uneducated, imprisoned and unprepared to thrive in adulthood. These flaws impact almost every domestic social issue, such as crime rates, unemployment, and abuse. These are America's forgotten youth. By neglecting these youth we are neglecting the future.
