Description:
Kathy Greenlee challenged the Aging Network last year with this question "Who will pay us for what we do?" Many of us in the field of aging are seeking answers to this question today. This workshop discussed possibilities, opportunities and challenges to seeking reimbursement for the services we offer. Potential payers were discussed, including Medicare. Attendees learned how to become a provider, utilize billing codes and meet reporting requirements. Medicare is evolving to include prevention, wellness visits, transitional care, and chronic care management—with possible coverage for care planning and end-of-life discussions on the horizon in 2016. Hear what opportunities are available to seize the moment!
