This holiday season, BCA celebrated diversity at its 9th annual Global Food and Wine Experience which took place at Guastavino's, located at 409 East 59th Street (underneath the 59th Street Bridge) in New York City This premier BCA Global culinary event recognized Harlem as one of NYC’s top food Mecca. During this event, over 50 chefs, wine and spirit merchants, and hundreds of food connoisseurs come together to create a platform for extraordinary culinary exploration.
As part of the event's unique experience, more than 50 culinary students worked side by side with New York's premier industry professionals as they prepared and unveiled the latest trends. The event highlighted a culinary sampling from select restaurants paired with gourmet tastings from winemakers, distributors and outlets from around the world.
Helen C. Shelton, Senior Partner at global public relations firm Finn Partners, was presented with the 2012 BCA Vision in Wine & Spirits Award.
The World Liberty TV Team was on hand to interview Alex Askew, President & CEO of BCA, as well as meet the movers and shakers of the Food and Wine Business.
