On Monday September 12th the Student Bar Association the Christian Legal Society and the Military Law Society held a short memorial service on the Delaware campus in remembrance of the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Flowers were placed at the base of the campus flagpole which was then lowered to half-mast. Christian Legal Society President April Gibello then led a short non-denominational prayer honoring the victims of the attack and their families the first responders and their families and the men and women of the United States Armed Services. SBA President Andrew Quietmeyer then thanked those members of the Widener Law community who attended.

The SBA also placed a poster at the flagpole. Students are encouraged to sign and leave messages of hope and remembrance on the poster throughout the day.
