Description
Day 5: “I wanna be such a fox for Jesus!”
We open today’s video with those lovely sandwiches Holly made. We arrived at the convention center at 6:25am. There were already 100 people in front of us in the line waiting to save seats. Some people arrived at 4:30am. Gnarly! We didn’t get seats as good as the previous few days, but they were still close to the front.
Jon Thurlow led worship. The teaching (“Walking with Joy in the Midst of the Growing Crisis on the Earth”) was by Stuart Greaves. We then went to eat lunch with many of the friends we knew at the conference. We spent a long time praying afterward. The prayer room in the convention center is a nice replica of the one IHOPKC runs 24/7. It’s peaceful and full of God’s presence. Holly informed us that she wasn’t feeling well, so we went to Consentino’s to get her some medicine and food. I went to edit some of these videos, but ended up falling asleep on the couch for four hours. (The time lapse the GoPro captured will be available separately later.) I conducted a little tour of the current state of beds.
Reinhard Bonnke gave an evening message (“Fire Power”). Then his apprentice, Daniel Kolenda, gave a shorter message (“But First”) at 10pm. After that, it was worship (led by Brenton Dowdy) into the new year. Happy 2016! We went home and then shared about our day. And went to bed pretty late.
The 6th and final video will encompass the return roadtrip home. It will be completed in the coming days.

Thanks to IHOPKC for such a wonderful, spirit-led event. We appreciate all the effort and attention to detail poured in to pull off something we’ll remember forever.
An extra-special thanks goes to Christian, Holly, Jeremy, Alex, Ryan, Joel, Roxton, and Miguel. And Jesus, of course. You all touched my heart in so many ways. I valued every moment, and I can’t wait to see what God does in our lives in the coming years.
Music:
“Mighty Hand” (performed live at Onething 2015) by Jon Thurlow
