Description

StudentCam is C-SPAN's annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think critically about issues that affect our communities and our nation. For the 2018 competition, we asked students to choose a provision of the U.S. Constitution and create a video illustrating why it's important to them. Notes from the filmmakers:
Our documentary explores the immorality and effects of pharmaceutical price gouging in the United States, a practice which our state, Maryland, has recently made illegal. The commerce clause, which protects the right of states to implement anti-price gouging legislation, is incredibly important to us, and inspired our documentary.
