A common requirement in Mobile applications is to access the camera or photo library so that a picture can be taken and then uploaded to the server, where the picture will be stored in a binary field in a table, or in a folder on the server. This is easily done using the built-in "Image Upload" action in Action Javascript. There are two methods for accessing the camera. You can use HTML5 (if the browser on the native device supports HTML5 camera access), or Cordova/PhoneGap (if your application is running in a native shell that uses Cordova). This video shows how the Image Upload action in Action Javascript can be used to create a button to access the camera.
