Great chat! I prefer to not use slides either, though I know some audience members really need the slides to be able to follow along. So the question becomes, and I think you covered this well, do you make slides for the sake of the audience, or for you? If you're making them FOR the audience, I think you're apt to spend more time making quality slides that actually enhance the presentation. If you're making them for you, as a crutch to help you get through your presentation, they act as little more than a distraction and do nothing in the line of making you a better presenter.

At any rate, your vidcast is a good time and I really appreciate your content. Consider me subscribed!

Thus far I haven't stopped smiling - you two are so cute together and highly entertaining. :)

I think the rule is something like "If you're not Steve Jobs, you're probably going to mess up the slideshow." :)
